Hi All,
Knowledge Management tools allow others to emerge as voices of power within an organization. Employees are given a “voice”, which can sometimes cause internal conflict. How to overcome the issues arising from shared leadership and more horizontal structure rather than vertical?
I would appreciate answers from experienced consultants with the horizontal and flatter structures.
One of my partners is called Engagement Multiplier. They provide a free employee engagement survey that provides anonymous feedback from the workforce and gives each individual a voice.
Leaders can then see points of view, potential issues and solutions from the people that do the work each day.
There are very helpful engagement scores that will highlight risks and areas of strength and help to guide leadership efforts.
The free survey can be accessed through my website with my partner link.
Please Inform Engagement Multiplier that you are working with me and request that the survey results can be shared with me. This will enable me to provide feedback on the survey results (again free of charge).
The risks and opportunities highlighted by the survey should provide clear direction. The feedback session will produce insights that lead to a set of actions that will address issues and increase staff engagement.
As for the issue of shared leadership, I will have to ask why shared leadership, in this case, is a problem?
There are many ways to address issues arising from it, but the core problems must be understood first.
Get in touch with me to discuss it.
All the best,
George
