I see more and more silo mentality and unawareness of the consequences of a given output in my team.
I feel the work is not understood and the end result is not clear. My team definitely does not work as one unit.
What is the best way to make everybody in my organisation understand how the organisation is working and how the work is connected between teams?
You should definitely start with Process flow diagrams. Something really simple- buy a brown paper or a magic charter (from amazon ) and gather the team to start revealing their process. Use sticky notes to capture each step. After that you can document the official processes with Microsoft Visio.
