Hello All,
My client wants to change a whole process how a work is delivered. Out of that I have 2 main challenges:
1. When the client has a solution and wants to implement it, is the right way to use POLISM model ( process, organisation, locations, information, suppliers, management system)?
2. Do you know different way to implement a new Operating Model, than POLISM?
I will really appreciate your thoughts to find the most efficient way to approach that project.
Thanks,
Marieta
Marieta,
If you are looking at the whole end to end process for delivering a ToM then you should be looking at:
The ToM should then be designed based on the changes necessary to achieve that desired end state in relation to:
From this point you can see the similarities/overlap if you were to apply POLISM, but POLISM appears to omit the ‘People’ element.
The People element is a critical factor in any approach and so needs to be included in any ToM approach.
