Hi, I am currently working on pre-startup stage focusing on mental health in sports players, during times of Covid, I am experiencing difficulty in gathering data via primary research which is an integral part of development of a probable product/service.
Can you please suggest some helpful & practical measures to overcome this issue, thanks.
Hi Deepak - what sort research have you tried? Sports players are a niche segment and perhaps a little difficult to reach but you can try either running targeted social media campaigns with bite-sized research questions (think polls) to see how the segment responds.
You can also try reaching out to specialist research agencies. A few good ones I've worked with in the past are Truth ( [removed] ) and Nursery ( [removed] ) and System1 ( [removed] ). However, researching niche segments can be costly but it's worth discussing your project with some agencies.
Have you looked into companies like Attest ( [removed] )? They're a consumer research platform and may be significantly cheaper than traditional research agencies. I haven't used them but I believe they have a subscription-based cost model.
All the best,
Ali
