Consulthon's Reputation System uses the quality of your challenges and answers to track your Reputation as a problem-solver and knowledge-sharer on www.consulthon.com.
This is a measurement of how much the community trusts you and it's earned by convincing other Consulthons that you know what you’re talking about. As you gain more reputation you will earn more visibility on our platform and can gain privileges like complimentary Premium accounts or invitations to Exclusive Networking events.
1. You gain Reputation when:
- You post a challenge: +2 points
- You post a challenge with an attachment and/or picture: +3 points
- Challenge is voted up: +1 points
- You answer to a challenge: +2 points
- Answer is voted up: +1 points
- Answer is marked “Solution accepted”: +10 points (+2 points to acceptor)
- Bonus Points Rewards for your answer: + full Bonus Points amount (see Bonus Points Rewards - how it works)
2. You lose Reputation when:
- Your challenge is voted down: −2 points
- Your answer is voted down: −2 points
- One of your challenges or answers receives 5 spam or offensive flags: −200 points
- Level 1 (1 bulb) – 20 points needed
- Level 2 (2 bulbs) – 80 points needed
- Level 3 (3 bulbs)– 200 points needed
- Level 4 (4 bulbs)– 500 points needed
- Level 5 (5 bulbs)– 1000 points needed
3. Bonus Points Rewards – how it works:
If you’ve raised a challenge and want to draw attention to it, you can place a Bonus Point Reward on it.
A Bonus Point reward is a special notoriety award given to answers. It is purchased by the user who raised the challenge and is non-refundable.
The Bonus points system is as follows:
- 10 bonus points – 10£ - visible on the Homepage Featured tab for 1 day
- 25 bonus points – 20£ - visible on the Homepage Featured tab for 3 days
- 50 bonus points – 30£ - visible on the Homepage Featured tab for 7 days

- Complimentary Premium account for 3 months every year
